Canada Express Entry is the fastest and most popular pathway for skilled immigrants
to settle permanently in Canada. The express entry program is an online point-based
system used for processing the application of candidates who wish to apply for
Canadian Permanent Residency. 

Candidates qualifying for the following programs are eligible to apply under the Express Entry Program:

• Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)
• Federal Skilled Trades (FSTW)

There are different requirements for each of the programs. To apply under the Express Entry program as a skilled worker, a candidate must:

• Have worked as a skilled worker for at least one year in the last ten years of continuous full-time (or equivalent part-time) work experience
• A minimum of CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) seven in either English or French
• Have a post-secondary education assessed against Canadian standards with an Educational Credential Assessment

These are the minimum requirements; however, candidates with better profiles have higher chances of getting selected from the Express Entry pool.
